As most of you know I'm a big airplane buff.  There are certain planes that really get to you, ones you want to see restored and preserved.  The Lancasters, Mosquitos, Spitfires, etc.  And thehn there are those that speak to a different age, when flying was still a risky proposition and the aircraft were beautiful and destined for greatness.  I'm sure the guys that design Airbuses and the various Boeing products would disagree but to me most of their planes look the same.

The Super Constellation to me is one of the great planes of the 20th Century.  It was good enough to be Airforce One during it's day and they ferried many passengers through the sky when you really did feel special getting on a flight.  This one is a failed restaurant tucked away and mouldering in a corner of Lester Pearson International.  It's slowly disintegrating.  I shot the series mostly in black and white because it felt right.  If you want a bigger copy of the prints email me and I'll see what I can do.
